We have been developing and manufacturing protective systems for machines for over 45 years. We started with the production of bellows in 1977 - today HEMA offers you a wide portfolio related to production machines. Over 600 employees work at our locations in Germany, Italy, Romania, China and the USA worldwide. An international network of experienced sales partners ensures close contact with our customers on site.
The company HEMA Maschinen- und Apparateschutz GmbH was founded here at the Seligenstadt location on April 1, 1977. The company's headquarters with the central development and construction departments for all product areas is still located here.
The former location with offices and production has now become three modern administration and production buildings.
We first develop new products or production methods at our headquarters and then introduce them at our production sites in Italy, Romania and China. We carry out a wide variety of test scenarios in our central test area.
Here, products are subjected to extensive functional and stress tests and textile materials are tested for durability. Through short communication and decision-making channels, we guarantee consistently high quality at all locations.
With our broad product range, we offer you a comprehensive range of products for your production machines.
Protection systems
We design and manufacture bellows, complete back wall systems, roller covers and link aprons, spiral springs and telescopic steel covers for you.
Clamping and braking systems
Our pneumatic clamping and braking systems include products for rotary position clamping in different effective directions, for quick and safe clamping and braking of axial loads or for translational applications for almost any linear guidance system.
Vision and lighting systems
With our third product range we offer you safety windows for machine tools, spin windows and LED lighting systems.

Many components for HEMA's pneumatic clamping and braking systems are manufactured here - on state-of-the-art CNC machines and with the highest precision. We are also happy to work for external customers - our portfolio:
