The right turn for your Machine Protection - Spiral springs from HEMA
HEMA DURASPRING spiral springs protect spindles from soiling, which can affect the dynamics of the traversing movements. In this way, they maintain the functionality of the system and enable efficient, precise machining of workpieces. The optimum operating conditions for DURASPRING is in applications with oil.
The DURASPRING spiral springs at a glance
- Inner diameter from 15 to 160 mm
- Vertical separations up to 4,500 mm
- Blued steel and stainless steel version
- High quality spring steel bank of extreme hardness
DURASPRING BLUE (standard spring, blue steel) and DURASPRING SILVER (stainless steel version).
Mounting position
The spiral springs are suitable for both horizontal and vertical installation.
Vertically installed DURASPRING basically achieves longer extension lengths than horizontal versions. Vertical types have a high start-up force, which ensures that the DURASPRING will move out quickly during start-up / extension with machine movement. For horizontal use, the overlap between turns is increased during manufacture of the spring. In this way, "sagging" is reduced, especially with longer extension lengths, and the transverse stability is significantly improved.
Your advantages with spiral springs
Effective protection
We use high quality spring band steel in extreme hardness (55-58 Rockwell) for the production of our DURASPIRNG spiral springs. As a result, the springs effectively protect the machine spindle against contamination by chips and oil-containing liquids.
Various designs
The DURASPRING spiral springs are available in a stainless steel version and in a blued steel version.
Flexible installation
Depending on your needs, you can install the DURASPING spiral springs horizontally or vertically in your application. The mounting position is already taken into account during the production of the springs and cannot be changed later.
Great excerpt
For use in a vertical position, we produce DURASPRING spiral springs with an extension of up to 4,500 mm in length.
