HEMA expands its range of spin windows with SPINVISTA Black Edition

HEMA has expanded its SPINVISTA product range with the Black Edition series. It features all the performance characteristics of the SPINVISTA series - designed for applications with medium chip volumes.

HEMA's SPINVISTA spin windows are suitable for all types of CNC high-speed milling and turning machines, as well as machining centres. They allow a clear view into the working area of a machine tool during ongoing production. The SPINVISTA spin windows are mounted on the inside of a machine safety window. The high-speed spinning glass and the resulting centrifugal force fling away coolant and chips.

SPINVISTA Black Edition for applications with medium chip volumes

SPINVISTA spin windows are designed for use in all chip volume ranges, from small batches to 24/7 production. With the Black Edition, HEMA has created a new product line ideal for medium chip volume applications.

The SPINVISTA and SPINVISTA Black Edition series are each available in two sizes. SPINVISTA EVO offers a large viewing area of 430 cm² with an outer diameter of 290 mm. SPINVISTA NEO has a viewing area of approximately 284 cm² and an outer diameter of 253 mm. Since NEO is compatible with existing HEMA mounting frames, it is also suitable for direct replacement of VISIPORT tilt windows.

Advantages: Safety and variability

All models share the high level of safety and versatility they offer users. The aluminium housing, thanks to its hard-anodized surface, is particularly resistant to abrasion and corrosion. The safety glass window also withstands extreme working conditions and does not become brittle. Additionally, a labyrinth design between the base of the unit and the rotating disc ensures that virtually no coolant enters the field of view. The BLDC motor, specially developed for the rotating window, features anti-lock protection, which slows the rotating disc to a non-critical speed within seconds in the event of a power outage.

Thanks to its low-profile design of less than 32 millimetres, the SPINVISTA rotary window does not protrude far into the machine's working area. In addition to mounting on the machine's safety glass, it can also be mounted on a machine door if sufficient installation space is available. The orientation of the SPINVISTA rotary window is freely selectable, and existing feed points and inlets can be easily integrated. This makes the SPINVISTA and SPINVISTA Black Edition rotary windows suitable for both OEM installation and retrofitting.
