Clean-Ice for fish & meat: effectiveness confirmed in the laboratory

Our Clean-Ice sanitation system can be used with foods containing peptides. Extensive tests have confirmed that disinfection using ozone is also effective for ice production for use in sausage meat processing or in the storage of fish, for example in the display in food stores. Residual ozone remaining in the ice is broken down within a very short time when it melts in the presence of peptides, which reliably prevents any loss of quality.

Microbiological tests of water and ice, micronucleus tests and tests with wild and other defined germs were carried out in an external laboratory.

The result: With ozonization of 13 to 15 µg ozone per liter, a reduction in the number of germs of 10,000 germs per milliliter to at least drinking water level can be achieved
